LIMERICK PA – The top price for a home sold within the township from April 27-May 1 2009, came in at $405,000, the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper reports.

The home is located at 5 Ashford Way. A second, at 85 Walker Rd., sold for $251,000.

This week’s top reported prices were listed Sunday (July 12, 2009) in “The Top 50,” the newspaper’s weekly review of highest prices paid for homes sold within the city of Philadelphia and the townships in its surrounding counties.

By contrast, during the same period, the top home sales price in Royersford PA Borough, immediately to the southeast was $189,900; Lower Pottsgrove PA Township, southwest, $174,900; Upper Providence PA Township, east, $283,110; Perkiomen PA Township, northeast, $356,000; Lower Frederick PA Township, north, none listed; Upper Frederick PA Township, northwest, $390,000; and in New Hanover PA Township, west, $225,000.
