There's a job fair today, and job searching help to come.

BLUE BELL PA – Nothing succeeds like success: demand is so high for a free workshop, which teaches people how to efficiently search for a job, that its sponsor has scheduled an additional session.

A second Job Search Workshop will be conducted by Montgomery County Community College on April 28 (2009; Wednesday) from 10 a.m. to Noon in its Science Center, Room 214, 340 DeKalb Pike. The workshop covers job search techniques, cover letter and resume writing, and interviewing skills.

Space is limited, and registration is requested. For more information or to register, call Cindy Murphy at 610-718-1802.

  • Meanwhile, the college today will host a free job fair from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., also at its Blue Bell campus, that it said Tuesday would include representatives of 95 different employers seeking to hire help. Those interested in attending need not make a reservation; they can simply show up (dressed and groomed appropriately, of course, and with resumes in hand). For more information on the job fair, call the same phone:  610-718-1802.
