LIMERICK PA – The top price for a home sold within the township from April 20-24 2009, came in at $530,000, the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper reports.

The home is located at 77 Grebe Rd.. A second, at 5 Windsor Dr., sold for $303,000; a third, at 22 Red Tail Ct., sold for $216,500; a fourth, at 138 Swamp Pike, sold for $185,000; and a fifth, at 22 Mill Ln., went for $60,500.

This week’s top reported prices were listed Sunday (July 5, 2009) in “The Top 50,” the newspaper’s weekly review of highest prices paid for homes sold within the city of Philadelphia and the townships in its surrounding counties.

By contrast, during the same period, the top home sales price in Royersford PA Borough, immediately to the southeast was $220,000; Lower Pottsgrove PA Township, southwest, none reported; Upper Providence PA Township, east, $473,141; Perkiomen PA Township, northeast, none reported; Lower Frederick PA Township, north, $178,500; Upper Frederick PA Township, northwest, $193,000; and in New Hanover PA Township, west, $309,036.
