SCHWENKSVILLE PA – You can practically feel the wind rush through your hair as you watch the latest promotional video from the Valley Forge Convention and Visitors Bureau, posted Monday (July 20, 2009) at its YouTube user account.

The bureau’s task as a private, non-profit membership sales and marketing organization is to aggressively promote the Valley Forge PA area and Montgomery County PA. It’s been doing that  on YouTube since last August, using slickly and professionally produced videography to introduce the county to outsiders.

In the most recent piece the bureau takes viewers to Schwenksville’s Spring Mountain Ski Area, six miles northeast of Limerick PA, where it claims visitors can “experience a rush of adrenaline” as they slide in body harnesses along steel guide lines beneath a canopy of trees. The video, which shows zipliners in action, is only 44 seconds long, but it’s exciting.
