POTTSTOWN PA – What women must know for the health of men in their lives, and also for themselves, are the topics of the next presentation of Pottstown Memorial Medical Center’s Healthy Woman program Sept. 24 (2009; Thursday) at 6:30 p.m. in the conference rooms of the Chesmont Office Building, Armand Hammer Boulevard, Pottstown PA.

Because women are primary decision makers when it comes to health issues, it’s important for them to understand both their health and that of their loved ones, according to PMMC doctors. Dr. Jeffrey Stevens, a PMMC medical oncologist, will discuss prostate and testicular health. Dr. Suman Tiwari, a radiation oncologist will discuss breast and ovarian health.

Participants also will be given the opportunity to complete a free, personalized cancer profile to serve as a guide to reduce their individual cancer risk. Refreshments will be served. Register for the event at the hospital’s website. To register for the event visit the PMMC website or call Healthy Woman Coordinator Pat Eltz, RN, MSN at 610-327-7662.
