20091001-CollegeTesting-ClipartComLIMERICK PA – As a sure sign of the coming rush toward college by area high school seniors,  Scholastic Aptitude Tests (SATs) will be administered next Saturday (Oct. 10, 2009) between 7 a.m. and noon at a variety of locations across Montgomery County (PA) and elsewhere in the state. Only students who pre-registered for the tests by Sept. 9 (2009) may attend.

The College Board, which administers the tests, claims that “nearly every college in America accepts the SAT or SAT Subject Tests as a part of its admissions process.” More than two million students take the SAT every year, it said.

Students who missed this edition can register in advance for tests to be administered on Nov. 7 and Dec. 5 (2009), as well as Jan. 23, March 13, May 1 and June 5 (2010), according to the College Board website.
