ROYERSFORD PA – Groups of parents and children paraded through the Upper Schuylkill Valley Park, Route 113, Royersford PA, in bright sunlight and warm temperatures Sunday afternoon (March 21, 2010) to go scavenger hunting.

The Montgomery County of Parks and Heritage Services sponsored the spring activity as a way to re-introduce the public to the beauty of the park and the wonder of its farm and other animals, county parks’ Regional Manager Michelle Harris said. The viitors’ task: to find the critters and natural features depicted on their hunting list, and then report back to the registration desk with their results.

The 90-minute event elicited plenty of smiles, as the above 01m:37s video shows.
