SCHWENKSVILLE PA – A full schedule of events has been slated by the Borough Activity Committee for Schwenksville Community Day, to be held rain or shine Saturday (May 15, 2010) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Meadow Park on Main Street, Schwenksville PA, behind the fire company building. The activities are free and open to the public.

Scheduled are:

  • 11 a.m. to noon, Adult Jazz Ensemble of the Community Music School;
  • 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., a walking tour of historic Main Street, with participants meeting at the fire company sign;
  • Noon to 1 p.m., Pop Ensemble of the Community Music School;
  • Noon to 12:30 p.m., demonstration by the Rising Star Dance Academy;
  • 1-2 p.m., square dancing by the Perky Promenaders;
  • 1:15-1:45 p.m., the Hilarious Magic of Sam Sandler;
  • 2-2:45 p.m., a walking tour of historic Main Street, with participants meeting at the fire company sign;
  • 2-3 p.m., bluegrass music form Ted The Fiddler;
  • 2:30-3 p.m., the “Christian Beach Boys” puppet show from Jerusalem Lutheran Church; and
  • 3-4 p.m., rock music from the band “Raising Cain.”
