COLLEGEVILLE PA – A 4-H approved babysitting courses for teens between the ages of 11 and 14 is scheduled to be held by Penn State Cooperative Extension of Montgomery County at a variety of county locations during June (2010), agency representative Linda Hoade announced Tuesday (May 11).

The course covers babysitter responsibilities, child development, feeding, diapering, infant care, age-appropriate toys, and what to do during an emergency. It costs $20 per student; advance registration is required. Class size is limited. Students must attend all sessions to receive a certificate of completion.
