LIMERICK PA – Premier Urgent Care, which provides walk-in health care services for medical situations that require immediate treatment, recently opened its sixth location at Ridge Pike and Township Line Road, Limerick PA. Its other offices have been opened in Oaks, Douglassville, Exton, and Hellertown PA, and in Cherry Hill NJ; and a seventh is planned in Kennett Square PA.

“While there are thousands of urgent care centers across the country, the concept of this health care option is relatively new to Philadelphia,” said Premier founder Dr. Edward Silverman. “We’re proud to introduce Premier Urgent Care” to the Limerick area, he said, “to provide convenient, quality services.”

Silverman claimed that nearly 80 percent of all hospital emergency room visits can be treated successfully, more efficiently, and more affordably by urgent care centers.

Premier hosted its Limerick grand opening celebration May 8. The facility will be open 365 days a year, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Silverman said Premier is equipped to handle a full range of illnesses and injuries, as well as routine medical services.

Founded in 2006, Premier Urgent Care claims to be the largest urgent medical care company in the Greater Philadelphia area.
