Sign of the highway.

KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Eastbound drivers on U.S. Route 422 will be limited to only one lane of traffic near the First Avenue, Upper Merion (PA) Township, interchange tonight (Friday, Oct. 15, 2010) and Saturday night (Oct. 16), beginning at 9 and continuing through the next morning until 7 on both days, as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation makes pavement repairs to the highway there.

Crews will work both nights to inject pressurized grout beneath the roadway, in hopes of addressing three areas where pavement depressions have developed.

PennDOT, in a press release distributed by the 422 website, advised 422’s eastbound travelers “to allow additional time for travel in this area and to use extra care when driving through the construction zone.”

Motorists can log on to, or call 511 from any phone, to check traffic conditions on major highways.
